Service Description
This workshop is designed to equip you with all the skills and techniques needed to create breathtaking intuitive abstract paintings in oil. You will learn how to manipulate oil paint with mediums, colour theory, composition and mindset exercises for intuitive work. In this inspirational session you create a 50cm round artwork on stretched canvas to take home at the end of the session. Starting the session you will be introduced to the materials including palette knives and oil mediums, learn their properties and uses. Following this you will learn colour theory and intuitive mindset techniques for abstraction. Using a handout learn the principles of balance and harmony in composition. After a demonstration in techniques you will work on your own masterpieces under the guidance of an experienced Artist. All materials are included: Oil Paints Solvent Odorless Lean Medium Linseed Oil 50cm Stretched canvas Brushes Palette knives Aprons Gloves Tea + Coffee ​The total cost of the workshop is $120 for 4 hours with all materials included. The Workshop has a capacity of 6 students with an experienced teacher to ensure a high level of attention to detail and instruction.
