Pallet Knife Workshop - Floral Natives

Service Description

The beauty of our unique native flora is its colour and texture. Starting the session you will arrange your own bouquet of flowers to use as your painting subject! This introductory class focuses on the loose expression of colour and texture, with no painting experience needed! Create a bold, 3D artwork on a 40cm x 40cm canvas with easy to follow step-by-step instruction. Learn how to express yourself with thickened impasto acrylic and pallet knife. In this class you will gain confidence in the skills and techniques used in knife painting. At the start of the session you will be introduced to the materials, composition, colour theory and process by an experienced artist. A complementary theory booklet is provided with all the info ready to take home. Follow an in-depth demonstration of techniques with fun warm-up exercises. Then it's over to you to pick your favorite flowers and greenery (all provided with vases and drapery), cut and arrange them ready to paint! Materials Provided: 40cm x 40cm Canvas Acrylic Paint Moulding Compound Brushes Aprons Theory Booklet All paintings will be ready to take home at the end of the workshop, they will continue to dry for 24hours. This is a COVID safe event with a maximum capacity of 6.
